Are you an egghead? If not, then it’s time you become one! Try one of our top five favorite egg dishes for B, L or D–breakfast, lunch or dinner–and tell us what you think in the comments below.
5. 6-Minute Egg
After boiling eggs for only 6-minutes, give them a quick dunk into an ice bath before peeling off their shells. When you dig your fork in, the yoke will surprise you — it’s still soft! Serve on top of toast, polenta grits or even oatmeal.
4. Cheesy Egg Bake
Loaded with peppers, chives and gruyere cheese, this is a great recipe to make the night before so you can have a pressure-free morning.
3. Star-Studded Egg-In-A-Hole
Serve this star-studded breakfast to your kids and you’ll make their day! But be careful not to tear the toast when you’re cutting out the star center so that the egg stays intact.
2. Egg & Avocado Toast
For the most simple breakfast of all, dress up plain toast with mashed avocado and fresh scrambled eggs. Lightly season with salt, pepper and few dashes of hot sauce and enjoy.
1. Eggs in Clouds
We separate the egg white and yolk in this recipe, but end up using both! Whip the whites, then add cheese chives and bacon for the “clouds” and bake until sturdy. Then, use the yolks in the well.
